The Library Oral History Project Was Selected for the 6th China Oral History International Week of Chinese.

Recently, the 6th International Week of Chinese Oral History, initiated and hosted by Communication University of China, was held in Beijing. The "Little Librarian·Great History—Oral History of University Librarians" declared by the library of SDNU was successfully selected, becoming one of the 36 oral history exhibition items of this International Week.

This project is planned and produced by the oral history interview team, focusing on interviewing librarians who have made important contributions in different historical periods in the past 70 years since the library was founded. By understanding their work and life experiences at the time, it shows the impact of social changes on the development of libray, reflecting the role of libraries in different historical periods of the development of SDNU.

Since the establishment of the library oral history interview team in June 2019, it has interviewed 13 librarians, recorded more than 1,000 minutes of audio and video materials, wrote nearly 100,000 words.
