On November 11th, sponsored by the National Institute of Quality Monitoring of Colleges and Universities, and undertaken by SDNU,the Fifth Annual Academic Conference of Quality Monitoring of Colleges and Universitieswas held in Jinan. Vice President Wan Guangxia attended the conference and delivered a speech. He extended a warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to the guests, and introduced to the participants the 70 years of development of SDNU and its monitoring and evaluation work.
The conference was divided into two sectors. The morning conference was hosted by Professor Zhou Haitao, vice president of The National Institute of Quality Monitoring of Colleges and Universities and President of the Institute of Higher Education of Beijing Normal University, and Professor Zhang Maocong, director of the Planning and Discipline Construction Department of SDNU. The afternoon conference was hosted by Professor Ma Yonghong, director of the Graduate Education Research Center of BUAA, and Duan Rui, director of the Planning and Discipline Construction Department of CCNU.
Experts believe that currently in the best opportunity period for the development of monitoring and evaluation, educational evaluation needs to change ideas, innovate methods and implement documents, so as to form a truly Chinese and world-level evaluation model.
The Fifth Annual Academic Conference of Quality Monitoring of Colleges and Universities will promote the reform spirit of education evaluation in the new era, further deepen the reform of higher education management, continue to deepen the research on the theory and method of quality monitoring, and provide a new direction for the practice of national quality monitoring in colleges and universities.
