On October 28th, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of SDNU, Guo Boling, an academician of the CAS and an important participant of the "Two Bombs and One Star" project of China, was invited by the School of Mathematics and Statistics to give an academic report on the Changqinghu Campus. The report was hosted by Chen Huanzhen. Some teachers and graduate students participated in the lecture.
Guo Boling said he was extremely delighted to be invited to SDNU and fully affirmed the achievements of SDNU in recent years. He hoped to further strengthen cooperation in youth talent training and scientific research in the future.
Academician Guo Boling is a dual-employed academician of SDNU. He has successively published more than 200 papers in important domestic and foreign journals and published 13 volumes and 15 monographs of "Guo Biling's Essays", most of which have been published in foreign languages.
