On the afternoon of October 29th, the School of Marxism celebrated the 70th anniversary of the founding of SDNU and the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Department of Politics alumni symposium was held on the Changqinghu Campus. More than a hundred people including outstanding alumni and student representatives gathered together to narrate the friendship between teachers and students and celebrate the 70th birthday of SDNU.The symposium was presided over by Lv Xiaoyong.
Before the symposium, the school played a film on school achievements and a documentary on school history for the participating teachers, students and alumni.
In the symposium, teachers and alumni recalled their youthful years with deep attachment to SDNU,recounted their life experiences and expressed their thoughts on theoretical research, publicity work and learning attitude.
Alumni representatives of the Jinan Alumni Association donated Chinese painting works to the school.The school also prepared tea sets with the pattern of the cultural building and the seal of SDNU as souvenirs for the alumni.
As the "Birthday Song" sounded on the scene, the celebration cake prepared by the school was showed out. Shang Zhixiao and Wang Li cut the cake together, offering sincere wishes for the 70th birthday of SDNU and the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Department of Politics.
