On the morning of October 25th, a badminton friendly match between teachers and students was held in the gymnasium of Changqinghu Campus. Yao Dongfang, secretary of Discipline Inspection Commission, Zhao Wei, secretary of the Youth League Committee, faculty from relevant departments of the university and badminton enthusiasts took part in the activity together. Ji Xinzhi, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of School of Physical Education, was appointed as the referee.
In the match, the players tried their best to get scores and the teammates cheered for them, making an exciting atmosphere. After a fierce competition, the Faculty One team finally won the match. Leaders and teachers presented awards and took photos for the winning teams.
This badminton friendly match showed the elegant demeanor of teachers and students, and enhanced the feelings between teachers and students. In the closing ceremony, Yao Dongfang said that white feathers symbolized peace, purity and friendship. He hoped all the teachers and students could take an active part in sports after intense work, so as to delight their body and mind, devote themselves to teaching and scientific research with more enthusiasm.
