On October 21st, the 1050th Social Science Lecture was successfully held jointly by the School of Foreign Languages and the Social Science Division. It is also one of the academic activities for the 70th anniversary of SDNU. Professor Zhong Zhixiang was invited to give a lecture on "How to Become a Qualified Compound Foreign Language Talent for the Belt and Road?" The lecture was presided by professor Wang Zhuo, director of the School of Foreign Languages and more than 400 students and teachers listened to the lecture.
Zhong Zhixiang interpreted "the Belt and Road" strategy from various aspects. Then, he pointed out that the "Belt and Road" initiative needs international talents who are professional and proficient in foreign languages. He also put forward practical suggestions for students on specific learning practices. With a humorous and relaxing teaching style, which enabled students to have a deeper understanding of their own development.
Zhong Zhixiang, doctoral supervisor and post-doctoral co-supervisor of Information Engineering University, enjoys the Special Government Allowance of the State Council.
