On June 29th, the School of Geography and Environment of SDNU held the symposium of “celebrating the CPC Founding Day, and planning the University Anniversary” at Qianfoshan Campus. Members of the External Cooperation and Development Office, members of the Party and government leadership of SDNU and 12 retired comrades of SDNU,including Chen Longfei, Zhai Zhongyi, Wang Chaomin and Wu Zhifen,participated in the symposium. Zhong Xiufang,Party Secretaryof School of Geography and Environment, presided over the symposium.
In her speech, Zhao Xiangyi, director of the Office of External Cooperation and Development of SDNU, paid high tribute to the aged teachers attending the meeting and briefly introduced the arrangement of the 70th anniversary of SDNU. She affirmed the active preparation of the School of Geography and Environment for the 70th university anniversary,and expressed sincere gratitude to the alumni for their strong support to the Education Foundation.
Party Secretary Zhong Xiufang, director Wang Chengxin and vice director Guo Dufa respectively made detailed reports to retired comrades on the development status of the School, the work plan of celebrating the 70th anniversary of the SDNU and the relevant requirements of the university.
