On December 19th,2019 Tencent News Short Video Open Class was held in Changqinghu Campus.Nearly 300 representatives from SDNU, Tencent and other media attended the class.
Zhang Lijun，director of School of Journalism and Communication,extended warm welcome tothe guests in his speech. He said that the open class of Tencent Penguin School of New Media is an opportunity for both SDNU and the School of Journalism and communication.At the same time, he encouraged more students to participate in the creation of short videos, hoping that all teachers and students could grasp the opportunity and spread Chinese culture into the world.
Zhu Zijie, the chief editor of Tencent News,quoted the hot topic"changes from 2017 to 2019" and combined with his own experience, telling his feelings from traditional media to new media, hoping that students can make more creative and high-quality short videos. Gao Wen, Zhang Qing and Zhao Hui shared their experience in different aspects.
An awarding ceremony was also held on that day. Tencent Penguin School of New Media awarded “Tencent News Regional Quality Content Partner Award” to some media, government units .
