From September to November 2019, three important conferences were held in Jinan, namely,International Summit on Innovation and Development of Youth Entrepreneurs 2019,Shandong International Friendship Cities Conference for Cooperation and Development, and the 2019 Sino-German SME Cooperation and Communication Conference.The School of Foreign Languages selected 180 students,whose majors are English, Japanese, Russian, Spanish to participate in voluntary service,in order to provide support for the successful holding of provincial important foreign development conference.
By virtue of their brilliant foreign language skills, good translation skills and rich professional knowledge reserves, the volunteers worked closely with Chinese and foreign guests to promote in-depth understanding and establishment of cooperative relations.
In recent years, the School of Foreign Languages has made great efforts to promote voluntary service activities and students’ professional quality, combine foreign language learning with communication practice, and guide students to become international foreign language talents who can tell “the story of China” well.
