On November 7th, 2019 fire promotion month launching ceremony and "119" fire drill activities were held in Changqinghu Campus and Qianfoshan Campus respectively. More than 5800 people ranging from teachers to students participated in the activity.The activity was chaired by Cheng Cheng, director of Public Security Department.
At the ceremony, the representative of the fire volunteers read out the initiative. The Public Security Department organized fire evacuation drills respectively in square and residence halls. The activity imitated the spot of firing in teaching buildings and dormitory, and the fire brigades reacted swiftly to rescue the trapped students and extinguish the fire in a rapid manner.
Cheng Cheng summed up that coupled with active cooperation of each and every departments, great highlighting was given to the event, thereby enhancing the fire safety awareness of teachers and students and improving the ability to protect themselves.
