On December 27th, an exhibition of calligraphy, painting and photography in celebration of the 40th anniversary of reform and opening-up, co-sponsored by the United Front Department of the Party Committee, the Labour Union and the School of Fine Arts, was held in Qianfoshan Campus. Zhang Wenxin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, attended the exhibition. The opening ceremony of the exhibition was chaired by Sui Wenhui, Director of the United Front Department.
In his speech at the opening ceremony, Zhang Wenxin said that in the past 40 years of reform and opening up, China has made remarkable achievements, and the cause of higher education and the work of SDNU have made great progress. This exhibition expressed the new era in the form of art , which demonstrated the good spiritual outlook of the faculty and staff of SDNU and their love and pursuit of a better life. He hoped that teachers would stick to this persistence, maintain their love and enthusiasm for artistic beauty, and create more and more good works.
