In the 2018 CCTV Spring Festival Gala,Shandong Normal University gave wonderful performance in Beijing and Tai'an with excellent skills and enthusiasm.
In the Spring Festival Gala,62 students from the Dance Department of the School of Music undertook 7 performance tasks such as"Colourful Chinese New Year",“Over the Surges”"Drill the Troops in the Battlefield"and so on. By virtue of their excellent professional level and good artistic performance, the students have won the praise of the national television audience. Since December 18, 2017, the teachers and students have overcome various difficulties such as living conditions, training intensity and injuries,and gave satisfactory answers to CCTV Spring Festival Gala with perfect posture and full enthusiasm, which made them receive high praise from the director group. Gao Zhiyi,director of the Dance Department of the School of Music,the only university teacher from Shandong province who was invited to the creating group in the Spring Festival Gala, took part in the creation of the program "Bright Shoes" . Professor Li Haiou,director of School of Music, was invited to the sub-venue of Tai'an and sang the classic song, "There is Nobody But Praise Our Hometown".The excellent performance of the teachers and students in the CCTV Spring Festival Gala has attracted wide attention in SDNU, meanwhile, more than 40 media have interviewed the teachers and students and publicized the event. Official micro-blogs at all levels of SDNU broadcast the relevant reports in time, and the total amount of reading was over 100 thousand times.The majority of teachers,students and alumni forwarded the reports through WeChat , QQ, as a result, the topic of“SDNU has participated in the Spring Festival Gala" has been a hot topic.
