On May 30th, the Changqing University City Higher Education Library Alliance was established in SDNU. Cai Yangjian, Vice President of Shandong Normal University, Zhao Xingsheng, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of Shandong Provincial University Library Committee, and Director of Shandong University Library. Alliance members include Shandong Normal University Library, Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Library, Qilu University of Technology Library, Shandong Jiaotong University Library, Shandong Academy of Arts Library, Shandong Academy of Arts and Crafts Library, Shandong Women's College Library, Shandong Academy of Management Library ,Library of Shandong Vocational and Technical College of Labor and Library of Jinan Preschool Teachers College, attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Du Baoguo, the director of SDNU's Library.
At the meeting, the "Charter of Changqing University City University Library Alliance" was read out, and the organization and composition of the first Changqing University City University Library Alliance were announced. The Alliance has set up five special working groups to exchange and cooperate in the coordinated construction and sharing of literature resources, the establishment of reference librarian information service sharing mechanism, the collaborative development of information literacy education, the cultivation of service brands, the development of business and academic exchanges, the improvement of the librarians, and the joint development of social services to provide corresponding services for the economic construction and social development of the university city and surrounding areas.
