Recently, the Qilu Cultural "Going Global" and Translator Behavior Research Forum and the unveiling ceremony of the "Shandong Literature Translation and International Communication Research Center" were held in Changqinghu Campus. Wang Chuankui, Vice President of Shandong Normal University, and Xu Jun, Senior Professor of Humanities at Zhejiang University and Director of the Chinese Translation Studies Museum, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. More than 200 experts, scholars, teachers, student representatives in the field of translation research from various domestic universities, as well as leaders of the School of Foreign Languages at Shandong Normal University, the editorial department of Shandong Foreign Language Teaching, and teacher representatives, attended the forum.
This forum is jointly organized by the School of Foreign Languages at Shandong Normal University, the editorial department of Shandong Foreign Language Teaching, and the Shandong Literature Translation and International Communication Research Center. More than 90 teachers and student representatives from various universities in China participated in thematic and group speeches, and a total of over 300 people watched online.
