At the opening ceremony, Liu Jinkai introduced the basic information of SDNU and the College of International Education, and extended his welcome and best wishes to the students.

Then, Timmy from Romania gave a speech. She fondly recalled the experience of learning Chinese from Guo Wenjuan more than 20 years ago and hoped that the young people in Romania and Hungary could learn more about Chinese culture and the world through learning Chinese.

Wang Qihe briefly introduced Mulan's story in his speech, encouraging students to be as brave as Mulan to meet challenges. He hoped the students can communicate with each other more in the winter camp and like Chinese language and Chinese culture.

In his speech, Chang Qingfeng affirmed and looked forward to this winter camp. He believed that Romanian primary and secondary school students will experience the charm of communication in the rich curriculum content. He warmly invited the students to come to China and SDNU after the pandemic to communicate with Chinese friends face to face and experience Chinese culture on the ground.

The "Chinese Bridge" online group "Learn Chinese with Mulan" project will last for one and a half months. Students will learn language in stories, make friends with Chinese teachers, primary and secondary school students in real communication, experience Chinese culture, understand China's development, learn Chinese in a happy way, and hope that young students will become friendly messengers of world civilization exchanges and mutual learning in the future.
