On September 25th, Ding Ningyuan and Sun Aihua, retired teachers of the School of Fine Arts, held the "Exhibition of Ding Ningyuan and Sun Aihua's Works" in Qingzhou. Leaders, guests, artists, collectors and entrepreneurs from relevant provincial and municipal units attended the opening ceremony and visited the exhibition. Zhao Yanxiu, former president of SDNU, delivered a speech.
More than 300 works of landscapes, flowers and birds were exhibited,which reflected the course of art creation and art education of the two elder teachers, as well as their efforts and fruitful achievements in trying to explore the personalized ink language with the spirit of the times in their art creation.
After the opening ceremony, the "Ding Ningyuan and Sun Aihua’s Works Academic Seminar" was held. Centering on the paintings exhibited, the participants spoke highly of the unremitting efforts and fruitful achievements made by the two elder artists in artistic creation from the aspects of theory and practice, tradition and modernity, content and form, innovation and development, and wished the two artists would continue to create new works reflecting the development of the times.
