On the afternoon of May 31st, Xing Guang, deputy secretary of the party committee of SDNU, walked into the student apartment of Qianfoshan Campus and exchanged views with student representatives. Relevant personnel and student representatives participated in the activity. The forum was presided over by Li Pengjian, director of the Students’ Affairs Office.
Xing Guang combined his 34 years of study and work experience in SDNU, and introduced the development of SDNU and the goals to be achieved in the development plan. Xing Guang said that after so many years of development, especially in recent years, the hardware and software facilities in SDNU had been greatly improved. With the gradual implementation of various development measures of SDNU, he believed that everyone will gain more tangible happiness. Xing Guang hoped that students would put forward more constructive suggestions, and make contributions to the development of SDNU and the improvement of the students' learning and living conditions.
The students expressed their gratitude to the leaders and teachers for their care, and also put forward some opinions and suggestions. The responsible comrade of the Students’ Affairs Office carefully recorded, explained some problems, and promised to pay close attention to coordinating and solving them after the meeting.
