On November 22nd, the opening ceremony and group activity of first "Growth Partner" Sunshine Training Camp were held in Changqinghu Campus. Relevant personnel of the Students’ Affairs Office and the Student Mental Health Education Center and 146 training camp members participated in this activity.
At the opening ceremony, Wang Chao, Vice Minister of Students’ Affairs Office, introduced the team formation, training mode, work content and participation requirements of the "Growth Partner" Sunshine Training Camp. He encouraged campers to learn peer psychological knowledge, participate in mutual assistance work, and help more students gain spiritual growth. In the activity, the members carried out a number of expansion projects under the leadership of professional coaches, which improved their comprehensive ability to communicate, create, discover and solve problems, and cooperate with others.
"Growth Partner" Sunshine Training Camp is a backbone team of psychological mutual assistance formed by Students’ Affairs Office. Through study and training, campers will actively participate in the publicity of mental health education, group psychological counseling and other work in SDNU and strive to become a warm and competent "growth partner".
