On the morning of December 8th, the second Shandong top ten anti-cult volunteer study and publicity activity was held in Changqinghu Campus. More than 300 people participated in the activity, including relevant responsible comrades from the Anti-Cult Association of Shandong, Shandong Agriculture channel and related department of SDNU, as well as representatives of counselors, undergraduate students and graduate students from Changqinghu Campus. Cui Yingjiao, Anti-Cult Publicity Ambassador and host of ShanDong radio and TV station presided over the activity.
Jia Haining, head of the United Front Department of the Party committee warmly congratulated the success of the activity and expressed his gratitude to the Anti-Cult Association of Shandong and ShanDong radio and TV stationfor their long-term support to SDNU. Jia Haining said that at present, anti-cult has become a widespread social consensus and one of the important contents of college students’safety education and ideological and political education.
Zhao Xiucheng, vice president of the Anti-Cult Association of Shandong, made a speech on the background and harm of the cult, the quality requirements and methods of anti-cult workers. Ren Changling, one of the top ten anti-cult volunteers introduced the prevention, crackdown, publicity and education activities carried out by grass-roots public security organs. Cui Ruoju, on behalf of SDNU delivered a keynote speech.
The positive interaction between SDNU and the local government innovated the way of anti-cult education. SDNU will take this activity as an opportunity to create a strong learning atmosphere for teachers and students to recognize, reject and fight against cults, so as to build a harmonious, beautiful and safe campus.
