On November 26th, the unveiling ceremony of Teaching Development Center of School of Mathematics and Statistics was held in Changqinghu Campus. Professor Wang Aiyun, a famous teacher of Shandong Province, came here for guidance. Relevant faculty members attended the meeting. The unveiling ceremony was presided over by Zhao Qiang, Deputy Director of the School of Mathematics and Statistics.
Wang Xinhua, director of the Teaching Development Center of SDNU, affirmed the talent cultivating work and achievements of School of Mathematics and Statistics. He emphasized that the key to talent cultivation is to improve teachers' teaching ability. Li Xiaodi, director of the School of Mathematics and Statistics, said that Mathematics Teacher Teaching Development Center would actively gather qualified resources from all sides and strive to become a teaching demonstration center of SDNU. Subsequently, Wang Aiyun, Wang Xinhua, Li Xiaodi jointly unveiled the Mathematics Teacher Teaching Development Center.
After the unveiling ceremony, Professor Wang Aiyun gave a report on teaching methods. She pointed out that the teaching idea of university mathematics is to cultivate their innovation consciousness and improve their ability to solve problems.
