On the morning of October 19th, Tang Zhouyan met Guo Chengyan, secretary of the Party Committee and deputy director of Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies. Vice President Wan Guangxia attended the meeting. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on the establishment of research bases, postgraduate training, application for special topics, team construction and other issues.
Tang Zhouyan welcomed Guo Chengyan. He hoped that SDNU and Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies would further strengthen communication and exchanges and make contributions to promoting the research, interpretation, dissemination and popularization of Confucianism.
Guo Chengyan thanked SDNU for its long-term support and help, and hoped to carry out in-depth cooperation with SDNU, widely integrate resources, refine research characteristics, solve academic problems, and jointly contribute new forces to deepen Confucian research and carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture.
Liu Hao, deputy director of Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies, heads of relevant departments, and relevant heads of Persoonel Office, Social Science Division, Graduate School and Center for Qilu Cultural Studies attended the meeting.
