On the morning of December 9th, a signing ceremony was held in the conference room on the third floor of the Culture Building in Qianfoshan Campus to inaugurate the Research Base onfostering the strong sense of community for the Chinese nation in Jinan and sign the agreement on joint construction. Zeng Qingliang, President of SDNU, attended the ceremony and unveil the research base together with Wang Youhua, member of the Standing Committee of the Jinan Municipal Committee and director of the United Front Work Department. Yu Hong, vice director of the United Front Work Department of the Jinan Municipal Party Committee and director of the Bureau of Ethnic and Religious Affairs of Jinan Municipality, Zhang Yong, vice director of the United Front Work Department of the Municipal Party Committee, Du Baoxian, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Lixia District and director of the United Front Work Department of the Lixia District, and other relevant comrades attended the ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Xing Guang, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and vice president of SDNU.
Zeng Qingliang warmly congratulated on the establishment of the Research Base and expressed his gratitude to the United Front Work Department of the Jinan Municipal Party Committee for its long-standing support and assistance to the reform and development of SDNU.
In his speech, Wang said that SDNU has actively supported the united front work in Jinan for many years and playing an active role in the high-quality development of the United Front in Jinan.
At the ceremony, comrades from SDNU and Research Base signed an agreement on joint construction and unveiled "Jinan (Lixia District) Research Base on fostering strong sense of community for Chinese Nation".
