On the afternoon of December 22nd, Bai Yugang, member of the Standing Committee of Shandong Provincial Party Committee, came to SDNU to publicize the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. The lecture was presided over by President Zeng Qingliang.

Bai Yugang gave a wonderful lecture to the teachers and students. The report is both academic and philosophical, as well as extremely reasonable, close to education, youth, and reality, and of great guiding significance.

Bai Yugang pointed out that the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China has a heavy political weight, rich ideological content, and strong practical force. It is necessary to accurately grasp the main theme and mainstream essence of the party's historical development, the major achievements, historical significance, and historical experience of the party's century-old struggle, and grasp the requirements of the new era. Bai Yugang stressed that the party's century-long struggle embodies the enthusiasm and dedication of young people, and the new journey in the new era requires the young generation to pass on the torch and continue to struggle. He hoped that the students would strive to become successors and doers who could bear the heavy responsibilities of the new era.

When presiding over the meeting, Zeng Qingliang pointed out that all cadres, teachers, and students of SDNU are expected to conscientiously study and comprehend the spirit of the sessions, better arm their minds with spirit, guide practice, and promote work.

Before the report meeting, Bai Yugang visited the party history study and education picture exhibition in SDNU. He fully affirmed the efforts SDNU made and said that SDNU played an exemplary and leading role among the colleges and universities in Shandong province.

Relevant personnel participated intheevent. More than 650 representatives of school cadres, teachers and students listened to the lectures at the scene or through live video broadcasts.
