On January 18th, the Ninth Extended Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Committee of SDNU was held in Qianfoshan campus. Relevant personnel attended the meeting.
The meeting was presided over by the Standing Committee of the Party Committee. Tang Zhouyan reported SDNU’s work in 2021. The plenary session fully affirmed the work of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee over the past year. The meeting pointed out that 2022 is the year of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the key year for SDNU’s "14th Five-year plan" development. In the face of the new situation and new tasks, it is necessary to make every effort to improve the governance capacity and level, ensure campus security and stability, and promote the work of SDNU to new breakthroughs.
The plenary session called on party organizations and cadres at all levels to implement Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, take responsibility and determination to jointly write a new chapter of high-quality development of SDNU, and welcome the 20th CPC National Congress with practical actions and outstanding achievements.
