On the morning of September 9th, SDNU held a symposium to celebrate Teachers' Day at the Qianfoshan Campus, and awarded honorary certificates to retired faculty and staff, commending SDNU's top ten teachers, top ten workers and teachers and staff who have taught for 30 years. The leaders Zeng Qingliang, Zhang Wenxin, Wang Chuankui, Wan Guangxia, Xu Shuangqing and Zhang Maocong attended the meeting. More than 260 people attended the meeting, including the main responsible comrades, teachers and student representatives of the middle-level units. Zhang Wenxin, deputy secretary of the party committee, presided over the meeting.
On behalf of SDNU, President Zeng Qingliang extended festive greetings and heartfelt thanks to all the teaching staff, paid tribute to the retired veteran teachers who have contributed to the development of SDNU for a long time, congratulated the advanced collectives and individuals who received commendations at all levels, and welcomed the new young teachers who joined SDNU in 2022.
At the meeting, Vice President Wang Chuankui read out the list of retired faculty members, Vice President Wan Guangxia read out the list of the most beautiful teachers, top ten teachers and top ten workers, Vice President Xu Shuangqing read out the list of people who have been teaching for 30 years. The leaders presented awards to the commended faculty and staff.
The four faculty members introduced the harvest, experience and insight since engaging in education and teaching work in combination with their own actual conditions, and expressed their responsibility and attitude of striving to undertake the glorious mission of educating people for the party and the country. The student representatives expressed their understanding of the teacher's tao and their sincere thanks and sincere wishes to the teachers of SDNU.
