On 8th September, the latest ESI data released by Clarivate showed that the Mathematics and Environment/Ecology of SDNU have entered the top 1% of the ESI. With the addition of Chemistry, Engineering, Plant and Animal Science, Materials Science and Computer Science, SDNU now has seven disciplines in the top 1% of the ESI. This is a new breakthrough in the construction of ESI disciplines. The Essential Science Indicators (ESI) is an international tool for measuring the performance of scientific research and tracking scientific trends. The ESI covers 22 subject areas and is updated every two months (single month). The current ESI statistics cover the period from January 1st, 2012 to June 30th, 2022.
