On the afternoon of September 27th, the 2022 Nishan Sino-Greek Classical Civilization Dialogue was held on the second floor of the Holy Land University Hall of Qufu Nishan Mountain. Former Greek President Pavlopoulos, Greek Ambassador to China George Ilipoulos, Vice President of the Greek Chinese Friendship Association Leftries Gondos, Greek University of Aegean President Kris Vizilaki, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor Zhou Naixiang, Chinese Ambassador of Greece Xiao Junzheng, Chinese Vice President of the Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries Li Xikui and other leading guests delivered speeches. Vice Governor Jiang Cheng presided over the speech session of the leading guests. President of SDNU Zeng Qingliang and Vice President of SDNU Wan Guangxia were invited to attend the relevant activities.
At the meeting, the unveiling ceremony of the "Sino-Greek Classical Civilization Research Institute" was held.
Wan Guangxia presided over the dialogue meeting and experts and scholars made speeches, and after the meeting, the "Nishan Consensus on the Dialogue between Chinese and Greek Classical Civilizations" was issued.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Greece, and is also the "Year of Culture and Tourism between China and Greece". Under the framework of the 8th Nishan Forum, Shandong province plans to hold the 2022 Nishan Sino-Greek Classical Civilization Dialogue Activity, and is committed to building the activity into a mechanism and normalized platform for mutual learning and exchange of classical civilizations, and making local contributions to building a community with a shared future for mankind and realizing the common development of all mankind.
