On November 2nd, the "National Fine Arts Doctoral Program Construction Summit Forum and National Famous Artists Exhibition", hosted by SDNU and organized by the School of Fine Arts of SDNU and Shandong Art Museum, was held.
The forum was held in Qianfoshan Campus of SDNU in a combination of online and offline methods. Zhang Maocong, vice president of SDNU, attended the forum and delivered a speech. 28 experts and scholars from Peking University, Tsinghua University, Central Academy of Fine Arts, China Academy of Art, Beijing Normal University and other 16 universities across the country, the 8th Fine Arts Discipline Evaluation Group of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council and the China Artists Association attended the forum. The forum was chaired by Liu Mingbo, Dean of the School of Fine Arts.
In his speech, Zhang Maocong reviewed the development of the fine arts discipline of SDNU, and hoped that the School of Fine Arts could make new and greater contributions to contemporary art education.
The first forum was hosted by Liu Weidong, the convener of the 8th Fine Arts Discipline Evaluation Group of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, professor and doctoral supervisor. Ding Ning, Ma Jingru, Mao Jianbo, Wang Shaobo, Wang Haibin, Wang Wei, Li Shuchun, Li Anyuan, Li Gang, Liu She made keynote speeches. The second forum was hosted by Li Anyuan, professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Humanities of Nanjing University of the Arts. Eight experts and scholars including Chen Zhiping, Shang Hui, Zhang Peng, Qin Side, Gu Ping, Zhang Wenhao, Cheng Linxin, and Zhen Wei delivered keynote speeches. Mao Jianbo, professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Arts and Humanities, China Academy of Art, made an academic comment. The forum attracted more than 1,000 people to participate online.
In the afternoon, "National Famous Artists' Art Works Exhibition" opened at Shandong Art Museum. Zhang Maocong, Chairman of Shandong Artists Association and Chairman of Federation of Literary and Art Circles Zhang Wang, Director of Shandong Art Museum Yang Xiaogang, Mao Jianbo, and Deputy Director of Shandong Art Museum Yao Yundong attended the opening ceremony. Zhang Maocong and Yang Xiaogang inaugurated the "Shandong Normal University Postgraduate Practice Teaching Base", and Liu Mingbo and Yao Yundong inaugurated the "Shandong Normal University Fine Arts Postdoctoral Research Mobile Station Innovation Practice Base".
The exhibition showcased more than 100 masterpieces by art discipline leaders, doctoral tutors, industry experts and artists from more than 20 units including the Central Academy of Fine Arts, China Academy of Art, and Chinese National Academy of Arts. The exhibition period is from November 2nd to November 9th.
