On the morning of June 14th, the graduation ceremony and degree awarding ceremony of 2022 undergraduate graduates was held in Changqinghu Campus. Tang Zhou Yan, the vice Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Provincial Committee, secretary of the Party Committee of SDNU, Zeng Qingliang, the president of SDNU, the president of the Academic Degree Assessment Committee of SDNU, Xing Guang, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of SDNU, Wang Chuankui and Wan Guangxia, the vice presidents , Zhou Jing, the secretary of Discipline Inspection Commission , Xu Shuangqing and Zhang Maocong, the vice presidents, and the special guest, a alumnus graduated in 1983 from the School of Marxism, Qingdao No. 2 middle school education group president Sun Xianliang attended the event. Members of the Academic Degree Assessment Committee, principals of relevant departments, teaching and research institutions of SDNU and undergraduate graduates attended the ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Xing Guang.
After the ceremony began, Zhang Maocong read out the decision of permitting undergraduate graduates to graduate and award bachelor's degrees for these graduates. The leaders awarded graduation certificates to representatives of graduates and awarded the bachelor's degrees to representatives of bachelor's degree recipients. Xu Shuangqing read out the decision to commend outstanding undergraduate graduates and outstanding bachelor's dissertations.Tang Zhouyan presented awards to outstanding graduates and outstanding bachelor's dissertation winners.
Zeng Qingliang expressed warm congratulations and best wishes to the undergraduate graduates who have successfully completed their studies, and, on behalf of SDNU, he thanked all the graduates for their efforts and responsibility in the fight against the pandemic. He summed up the important achievements of SDNU in the past four years, hoped that the students would continue to care about and support the development of SDNU, and give a parting note to everyone.
The alumni representative, Sun Xianliang, shared wonderful moments of college life and his experience since work.
He Hongbin, the teacher representative, encouraged the students to uphold the concept of lifelong learning based on his own work and learning experience. Nie Liyan, the graduate representative majoring in Digital Media Arts at the School of Journalism and Communication, also expressed her best wishes to SDNU.
Before the ceremony, the school played a commemorative video specially made for all the graduates. The songs sung by six graduates and the dance carefully prepared by all the undergraduate graduating class counselors won the applause of the students. After the ceremony, all the leaders and teachers stood up and watched the graduates leave.
