On the afternoon of September 8th, Tang Zhouyan met with Japanese Ambassador to China Hideo Tarumi in Qianfoshan Campus. Sun Yebao, Zhang Wenxin and IGAWAHARA Masaru attended the meeting.
Tang Zhouyan extended warm welcome to the guests and briefly introduced the history and development of SDNU. He hoped that Ambassador Hideo Tarumi would continue to care for and support the development of SDNU and its cooperation with Japan.
Hideo Tarumi said that SDNU’s academic atmosphere and educational achievements are impressive and it has made positive contributions to China-Japan exchanges. He hopes that China and Japan will continue to maintain friendly exchanges and cooperation.
After the meeting, Hideo Tarumi had a discussion with some teachers and students who had worked and studied in Japan. Relevant responsible comrades participated in the activity.
