On the morning of June 28th, SDNU celebrated the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China with a grand commendation meeting held in Qianfoshan Campus. Tang Zhouyan, secretary of the Party Committee of SDNU, Zeng Qingliang, deputy secretary of the Party Committee attended the event. Representatives of the old party members of "50 years of glory in the Party", retired old comrades, and those in charge of middle-level units, second-level professors and representatives of teachers and students attended the commendation.
The conference opened with the National Anthem. Tang Zhouyan, Zeng Qingliang and other SDNU leaders got up and came to the first row to put on the commemorative medals awarded by the Party Central Committee for the representatives of the old party members. Young student representatives offered flowers and expressed their respect and blessings to the old party members who have been in the Party for 50 years.
