On May 15th, the Ninth Directors Forum of Schools of Business of National Normal Universities was held in Changqinghu Campus of SDNU, which was also the Fourth Academic Forum for Young Scholars in Economics and Management of National Normal Universities. More than 150 directors, experts, scholars and journal editors from 61 schools of business from normal universities in China attended the forum.
At the opening ceremony, Zeng Qingliang, president of SDNU, and Tang Renwu, director of the School of Government of Beijing Normal University delivered speeches. It is hoped that colleagues of economics and management in normal colleges and universities around the country could work together, communicate with each other and inspire each other, and actively offer suggestions for the construction of first-class disciplines. Guan Zhaoquan, vice director of Shandong Development and Reform Commission, made a keynote speech on “Accelerating the Transformation of Old Drivers of Growth and Promoting High-quality Development of Shandong's Economy”.
In the afternoon, a forum for presidents and secretaries and a forum for young scholars were held. Experts and scholars discussed and communicated, and put forward a series of representative and forward-looking ideas. A total of 124 papers from the Schools of Economics and Management across the country were collected in this forum, and 18 outstanding papers were selected through expert review and joint review.
