On the afternoon of March 25th, SDNU and Herzen University signed the agreement of jointly bidding for Chinese-foreign cooperative school. President Zeng Qingliang attended the ceremony and signed the agreement on behalf of SDNU. Vice President Wang Chuankui attended the ceremony. Heads of relevant units attended the ceremony.

In the speech, Zeng Qingliang congratulated the two universities on reaching the cooperation agreement. He said that the joint bid by the two universities for a Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run school will actively promote talent training, help speed up the two-way flow and integration of high-quality educational resources and talents, provide a strong guarantee for the internationalization of the two universities, and create a good prospect for further enhancing international competitiveness. The signing of the cooperative school agreement is a good start for the application work and lays a solid foundation for the approval of Shandong Province and the Ministry of Education.
