In recent years, through strengthening the ethics construction, SDNU deepens the reform of the classification evaluation and salary system, and the innovation measures such as management mode, strengthening the teachers team construction, to build a team with high qualification and political exquisite business capability, a new era of innovative teachers. At the same time, SDNU recommended 6 teachers from the previous school-level teaching teachers to participate in the evaluation. Starting from 2020, SDNU selects the school-level outstanding teachers every two years, and recommends the outstanding teachers to participate in the Shandong Province Outstanding University Teachers Selection.
Up to now, a total of 22 teachers from SDNU have been awarded the title of "Outstanding Teachers of Higher Education in Shandong Province".
