Aiming to speed up the innovation of teaching and construct first-class curriculum, SDNU held the first teaching innovation competition in Qianfoshan Campus on March 13rd. Forty-two teams of teachers from 21 schools of SDNU took part in the competition.
The judge group is composed of senior expert teachers and famous professors from Shandong University, Qilu Normal University and other universities. The judges made an overall evaluation of the participating teachers focusing on the teaching innovation in teaching mode, teaching content, teaching organization and teaching evaluation. They generally agreed with the teaching philosophy of student-centered and comprehensively serving social practice. The judges also encouraged the participating teams to explore innovative ideas, explore innovative measures, and learn in teaching.
After online evaluation and on-site presentation and defense, 9 excellent teachers were recommended to participate in the 2021 Shandong Provincial Teaching Innovation Competition.
The Teaching Innovation Competition strengthened the "student-centered" education philosophy of college teachers, further stimulated the exploration enthusiasm of teaching mode, method and evaluation, and also provided a platform for teachers' growth, communication and learning in SDNU.
