On December 5th, School of Chemistry, based on the provincial and ministerial joint innovation center for chemical imaging functional probes, was approved as a demonstration collaborative innovation center for universities in Shandong Province. This is another breakthrough since it was recognized as a collaborative innovation center jointly built by the province and the ministry in 2019. The collaborative innovation center for chemical imaging functional probes was established in September 2013, and the lead institute is SDNU.
During the construction period, based on the creation of new molecules and nanoprobes, new breakthroughs in theories, methods and technologies for early diagnosis, early treatment and prognosis evaluation of major diseases at the molecular level have been realized.
