SDNU Participated in the Sino Japanese (Shandong) International Education Exchange and Cooperation Dialogue.

On the afternoon of December 1st, the Sino Japanese (Shandong) International Education Exchange and Cooperation Dialogue and the founding of Sino Japanese (Shandong) International Education Cooperation Alliance was held in Shandong Education TV station through the combination of online and offline methods. More than 600 people from 360 universities of both sides attended the meeting. Zhang Wenxin, deputy secretary of Party Committee of SDNU spoke as the Chinese representative.

Relevant representatives of China and Japan respectively spoke at the meeting. Representatives of 10 Chinese universities and middle schools held dialogues with those from Japan.

In the speech, Zhang Wenxin introduced the basic situation of SDNU, the international school running strategy and the achievements and experience of exchanges and cooperation with Japan. He said SDNU attaches great importance to internationalization and has established friendly relations with 150 universities in 32 countries (regions). The exchange with Japan started in the 1980s and has established inter school friendly relations with 10 Japanese universities. Professor Li Guangzhen, director of the Department of Japanese, has made remarkable achievements in promoting the exchange with Japan and won the commendation award of the Minister of foreign affairs of Japan in 2018. SDNU will actively carry out practical exchanges and cooperation with Japanese universities and contribute to promoting educational exchange.

During the meeting,Sino Japanese (Shandong) International Education Cooperation Alliance was officially established under the witness of representatives from both China and Japan. SDNU joined the alliance.
