On November 24th, the latest data from ESI showed that Materials Science of SDNU ranked among the top 1% of ESI global rankings. At present, SDNU has four disciplines including Chemistry, Engineering, Plant and Animal Science, and Materials Science that have entered the top 1% of ESI global rankings.
The Essential Science Indicators (ESI) is a basic analysis and evaluation tool for measuring scientific research performance and tracking scientific development trends internationally. It is also one of the important indicators for evaluating the international academic level and influence of universities, academic institutions, and countries. ESI covers 22 subject areas and is updated every two months.
