On November 12th, School of Physics and Electronics held a symposium for retired teachers at Wenlan Building, Changqinghu Campus. College members and some retired teachers participated in the activities.
At the symposium, student representatives presented flowers to the retired teachers to show their high respect and gratitude. The leaders of SDNU reported to the retired teachers the development of SDNU in recent years, including the construction of the college's talent team, disciplines and specialties, scientific research situation and international exchanges, and described the vision and planning of the college's development. It is said that the development of SDNU cannot be separated from the hard work of the seniors. SDNU will always remember the contributions made by the retired teachers, insist on high-quality development on the basis of the seniors. Professor Lin Shenglu on behalf of retired teachers gave a speech. Other retired teachers recalled their happy memories of their work in SDNU, expressing great satisfaction over the vigorous development of SDNU in recent years.
After the symposium, the retired teachers, accompanied by the school leaders, visited the achievement exhibition of the 70th anniversary of the founding of SDNU. After that, the retired teachers took a group photo with the college leaders and all the counselors in front of Wenlan Building.
