Erya, An Ancient Book in SDNU’s Library Collection, Was Included in the Sixth Batch of National Rare Ancient Books List

Recently, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism has released the sixth batch of National List of Rare Ancient Books. Erya, an engraved copy of Wu Yuangong in the 17th year of the Reign of Emperor Jiajing of the Ming Dynasty, was included in the library collection of SDNU. So far, 37 kinds of ancient books have been included in the National List of Precious Ancient Books, and 701 kinds of ancient books have been included in the List of Precious Ancient Books of Shandong Province.

Erya is an important reference book in China. It was written between the Warring States Period and the Han Dynasty. In recent years, the SDNU library attaches great importance to the protection of ancient books. While strengthening the collation and protection of ancient books, the library also pays attention to the applied research of ancient books, and a number of work is in the forefront of the province’s libraries.
