Recently, the "Excellent Cases for the Service Teaching Seminar of University Library" was held in Sichuan University. The case submitted by Wang Yafang and Liu Changrong stood out among the 93 cases across the country, and was selected as one of the 25 outstanding cases to participate in the live show. The library of SDNU is the only award-winning institution in Shandong Province.
During the pandemic, the library organized all Party members and employees to quickly unify their thoughts and actions, enthusiastically provided services on the basis of strict prevention and control of the pandemic and organized consulting librarians to take turns on QQ online to answer questions for readers in time. It also opened the CARSI off-campus access channel of the CNKI database, actively organized online training lectures, pushed a variety of library resources and service guides through the WeChat platform. Significant achievements have been made during the pandemic.
The library will take this excellent case demonstration as an opportunity, center on serving teachers and students, and earnestly play the role of library in supporting and guaranteeing education and teaching.
