On November 7th, SDNU held a seminar on "Leading the Construction of Ecological Shandong with Xi Jinping’s Thoughts on Ecological Civilization". More than 200 experts and scholars participated in this seminar through a combination of online and offline methods.
Tang Zhouyan and Liu Zhifu attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Zhang Weihong presided over the opening ceremony. Wan Guangxia presided over and summarized the seminar.
In his speech, Tang Zhouyan expressed his gratitude to the experts for their support to SDNU and the School of Marxism. He pointed out that since the 18th National Congress of the CPC, President Xi put forward a series of new ideas and strategies on the construction of ecological civilization. SDNU has also taken many measures in practice, and the construction of ecological civilization has achieved remarkable results.
In his speech, Liu Zhifu pointed out that the majority of social science workers in the province should deepen the study of Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought, fully grasp the core principles, master methods, and use them to guide practice and promote work better.
Cui Yongjie, Li Huiming, Cheng Yu and other 17 experts gave keynote speeches around the theme of the seminar.
The experts believed that Xi Jinping’s thoughts on ecological civilization should be used to lead the construction of Shandong. It is important to adhere to the principles of respecting nature, give priority to the ecological environment, and better promote the construction of a modern and powerful province in the new era.
