On the afternoon of October 29th, the School of Geography and Environment held an alumni seminar at Block A, Wenlan Building. More than ten alumni representatives and retired faculty representatives returned to the school together. The meeting was presided over by Zhong Xiufang, secretary of the Party Committee. Through playing the propaganda video, teachers and students can feel the development and changes of the school in the past 70 years. Chen Longfei told about the development of the Geography Department and expressed his feelings about the School of Geography and Environment. Guo Xusheng compares his experience of studying at SDNU to an important fortune. Wang Qing said the guidance of the older generation of teachers is unforgettable; Zhao Yong put forward suggestions on the topic of basic education. In the joyous atmosphere of the school celebration, the alumni spoke freely, expressed their strong friendship with teachers and students, and jointly drew the blueprint for the development of SDNU in the new era. President Wang Chengxin expressed his gratitude to all the alumni for their cooperation in the development of SDNU and hoped that all the alumni could continue their efforts. By inviting excellent alumni back for discussion and exchange, it lays a good foundation for the development of the School of Geography and Environment.
