On October 25th, the symposium of Complete Works of Fu Tongxianwas held in Jinan. The conference discussed the background, process and significance of this book. Relative scholars and more than 10 experts from Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Beijing Institute of Technology, Ludong University, Shandong Education Press and other scientific researches and publishing institutions attended the meeting. The symposium was presided over by Wan Guangxia, vice president of SDNU. Relative leaders made keynote speeches.
Leaders and experts at the meeting reached consensus that Mr. Fu is a model for contemporary educators. He introduced western philosophy and psychology to China, and combined it with Chinese educational practice, making an important contribution to the educational theoretical system of New China. The publication of this book is the excavation and display of the profound academic of SDNU in the 70th anniversary. Coinciding with the 110th anniversary of Mr. Fu’s birth, the publication is the best commemoration of Mr. Fu.
This symposium is one of the series of academic activities of the 70th anniversary of SDNU.Complete Works of Fu Tongxianis the first systematic project of SDNU to comprehensively introduce a scholar, showing profound humanistic heritage, and also helping to establish the cultural, academic as well as historical self-confidence of SDNU.
