From October 17thto 18th, the Fifth Symposium on Atomic and Molecular Physics and Photophysics was held on the Changqinghu Campus. More than 170 representatives from 59 universities and research institutes attended the meeting.
Cai Yangjian hosted the opening ceremony. At the opening ceremony, Zeng Qingliang introduced the development and achievements of SDNU. On behalf of SDNU, he expressed his congratulations on the convening of the meeting. He hoped that the experts will generate academic innovation sparks in mutual learning and collision.
The conference was sponsored by the Atomic and Molecular Physics Committee of the Chinese Physical Society and hosted by the School of Physics and Electronic of SDNU. The purpose of the conference is to promote the intersection of atomic and molecular physics and photophysics research fields, and promote the construction and development of basic disciplines in China on the basis of strengthening academic exchanges.
