On the afternoon of October 16th, the publishing conference of The Encyclopedia of Chinese Culture was held in the National Museum of China.Wang Chunfa, Gui Xiaofeng, Wang Wenzhang and other experts attended the meeting. Yang Zhenbin, Zeng Qingliang and Zhang Shuzheng delivered speeches. Gu Feng presided over the meeting.
In the speech, Zeng Qingliang paid tribute to the experts and scholars who compiled the book and expressed gratitude to all parties for their support.
Zhang Shuzheng introduced the compilation process and thoughts of the book.
The experts at the conference believed that the compilation of the book is a meaningful cultural project. Nearly 300 experts and scholars participated in the writing of this book, which lasted more than 20 years. The book contains 32 volumes, nearly 30 million words, covering many fields.At the meeting, experts put forward suggestions on style arrangement, publication design, and later development.
