On September 24th, Tang Zhouyan, vice chairman of Shandong CPPCC and secretary of SDNU Party Committee, and Zeng Qingliang, president of SDNU paid a special visit to academician Guo Xusheng, an outstanding alumnus.
Guo Xusheng expressed his welcome to the leaders of SDNU, recalling his seven years of learning and growth in SDNU. He pointed out that the study of geography during the undergraduate and postgraduate years laid a solid foundation for his future achievements in comprehensive research and exploration of petroleum geology.
Zeng Qingliang briefly introduced the reform and development of SDNU and the preparation progress of the anniversary. He emphasized that the development and construction of SDNU cannot do without the support of the vast number of alumni.
