On May 28th, the Defense Meeting for School of International Demonstration was held in Qianfoshan campus. Zhang Wenxin,Zeng Xianwen, Wang Jianbo, Sun Yanmei, heads of relevant organizations and representatives of schools served as the defense judges.
Zhang Wenxin pointed out that SDNU attaches great importance to the work of running an international university and has invested special funds to support its construction this year.The purpose of building an international demonstration university is to pursue all-round development, to set up a benchmark to promote demonstration and guidance, and to cultivate the ability to have international exchanges and cooperation.It is hoped that this defense will share the experience of running an international university and drive SDNU to a new level.
At the meeting, eight universities introduced their advantages and plans of running an international university from several aspects. Then the judges asked them questions from a few perspectives.The evaluation adheres to the principles of fairness, openness and transparency, and the results will be officially announced.
