On December 14th and 15th, the Seminar of "Guo Chengqing and Chinese Modern and Contemporary Literature" was held in SDNU. Nearly sixty experts, scholars and media reporters attended the meeting.
In the afternoon of 14th, the Seminar held the opening ceremony. And the Opening Ceremony was presided over by Professor Wei Jian, the academic leader of Modern and Contemporary Chinese Literature in SDNU, and then Vice President Wang Hongyu delivered a welcoming speech on behalf of SDNU. Li Yiming, Ji Dejun, Zhang Xuejun, President of Shandong Association of Contemporary Literature, and Li Yeping delivered speeches successively. In the afternoon of 14th and the morning of 15th, the participating scholars discussed and delivered speeches on the academic theme of "Guo Chengqing and Chinese Modern and Contemporary Literature".
Li Zonggang, chief-editor of Journal of Shandong Normal University, delivered a summary speech. This seminar will not only improve the research level of writers represented by Guo Chengqing in Shandong Province, but also promote the in-depth development of Chinese Modern and Contemporary literature,and facilitate the first-class discipline construction of Chinese language and literature to a new level.
