The 3rd China Beijing International Language Culture Expo (ILCE),whose theme was“Language Makes the World More Harmonious and Civilized”,was held in the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing, China.SDNU made its debut and the Faculty Arts undertook the relevant work in the exhibition, which received wide attention from all walks of life. Tian Xuejun, vice minister of Educational Department and director of the National Language Committee was present.
In the Expo, SDNU mainly displayed such six parts as traditional chanting, dialect protection,sinology popularization, ancient books classification, calligraphy training and Chinese language education.
On the morning of October 25th, when visiting SDNU's booth, Tian Xuejun fully acclaimed the achievements in language and culture, and encouraged to double its efforts to make greater contributions to the party's education and the research and inheritance of Chinese excellent traditional culture.
Inthe exhibition, the organizers also intended to cooperate with a range of institutes in terms of the compile of traditional Chinese textbooks, the promotion of calligraphy,and the collation of ancient books.
